This looks like a fantastic piece of artwork that will really make it worth a trip to see the site of the only major battle of Lord Dunmore's War.
I do find it interesting that this article also mentions that many people believe that Point Pleasant was the first battle of the American Revolution. Now I know this viewpoint was put forward by at least one well-known author many years ago, but had always thought the overall notion had been kind of dispelled. While I might be able to see how one could argue the point, I feel that it is not the case. In my opinion the Revolution began in Lexington and Concord in April 1775. Period.
