Looks like the Ohio Historical Society is in more financial trouble these days. www.nbc4columbus.com/news/3388784/detail.htmlAfter budget cuts two years in a row, which saw the closure of the great Ohio Village exhibit in Columbus and the layoff of a number of employees, OHS is set for more layoffs. While they claim that historic sites run by the OHS will not be effected, it is really hard to imagine anything worse befalling the society. This simply points to a significant downturn in historical preservation in Ohio. It is sad to see such a worthwhile effort suffer such indignity.
