Hello All. I just found this site. Very nice indeed. I'm a member of the Legionville Historical Society. We are trying to save Anthony Wayne's training camp located near Ambridge Pa. Also We do reenactments of the Legion of the United States (1792-1796) I'm our Artillery Officer, And just a side note we are looking for recruits. Were based out of the Pittsburgh Pa area.

Glad you found us. Hopefully you will find some interesting and useful info and discussions here. Please feel free to post on anything you think worthwhile!
We too have had our share of preservation issues here in Ohio. For a long time there was a big controversy regarding a developer's desire to build over a large portion of the Fallen Timbers Battlefiled site in Toledo. I haven't heard any recent updates on this but I do know that part of the battlefield site was purchased by National Park Service to help protect it from destruction. Historical sites are in danger everywhere in this country and I would like to see more done to protect our heritage.
