I read a story on a site about the McKee's that the Hiram Walker Museum in Canada has a portrait believed to be Alexander McKee, which would be very interesting to see. It has info on Alexander McKee and his son Thomas McKee. Both were involved with the Indian wars here in Ohio. www.angelfire.com/on/mckee/familynews18.html

McKee had a cabin at the mouth of turtle creek and the monogahela river in 1753, and was visited there by G.Washington and C. gist in 1753 on his way to venango. He also had a tading post and gun repair shop at Venango
