Hi Guys, I recently watched, "BLACK ROBE" a movie about a French Jesuit in the Great Lakes region. I thought it was very good! Also watched, "THE NEW WORLD" a movie about John Smith and Pochahontas, I found it very slow and boring. Are there other movies dealing with early American history that I am missing out on? Cheers, Brian

I have both of those movies too. Other good ones are: The Last of the Mohicans (Daniel Day Lewis); The Patriot (Mel Gibson); Tecumseh, The Last Warrior (Jesse Borrego); Grey Owl (Pierce Brosnan); The Broken Chain (Pierce Brosnan); The Pathfinder (Graham Greene); Squanto, A Warrior's Tale (Disney movie). I gave you the main stars in the movies so you can google them and have a look at their content.

Good list above. Sadly I can't seem to find a copy of Tecumseh: The Last Warrior anywhere and it appears that it was never released on DVD. However I did find that someone posted it to Youtube so it seems that is the only place it can be seen now sadly (My old VHS tape copy was lost a long time ago). www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-PjQ_e5lVM
