Wonderful news today, the Blue Jacket Outdoor Drama in Xenia, OH successfully raised the $100,000 it needed to reopen the show for the 2006 season. The show had been on the verge of permanent cancellation which would have been a terrible loss for anyone, like myself, who continues to enjoy the show each summer. I always look forward to the drive down to Xenia to see Blue Jacket each year and it makes me happy to see that others are willing to support this wonderful historical drama. Whether or not you agree with the portrayal of Blue Jacket as an adopted white man (the subject of another thread on this board), you can't deny that this drama helps to bring history to people who otherwise would know little or nothing of the American Indian heritage of Ohio. www.dispatch.com/features-story.php?story=dispatch/2006/05/23/20060523-B3-02.html
